"Community is truly at the core of who we are, and as Community Care Plan expands, so do our efforts to understand the needs of the local communities and how we can best support them to get the care and help they need to live their healthiest lives,” said Jessica Lerner, President and CEO of Community Care Plan. “We believe that contributing to the local organizations dedicated to these communities and families is the best way to do that, and we are proud to help them continue their programs and services."
"The Florida Association of Centers for Independent Living sincerely appreciates the financial support and partnership Community Care Plan has provided our local Centers and the individuals they serve,” said Jane E. Johnson, Executive Director of Florida Association of Centers for Independent Living. “We look forward to working together with CCP to help Floridians with disabilities live, work and thrive in their communities."
"Rebuilding Together Broward County is proud to partner alongside Community Care Plan in their mission to create healthier communities. Together, we believe in addressing safe and healthy neighborhoods and homes, a top social determinant of health, for those in need“, said Rita Killinger, Director of Development and Community Engagement at Rebuilding Together. “The conditions of neighborhoods and home environments profoundly impact the well-being of our residents across Broward County and CCP's generous contributions are making a difference in our community. We look forward to a continued collaboration in our shared commitment to enhancing lives and fostering well-being."
Additionally, given the devastation caused by Hurricane Idalia in northern Florida this year, CCP also donated $10,000 in essential supplies (baby wipes, blankets, deodorant, toothpaste, sanitary pads, shampoo, body wash, skin cream, etc.) to those impacted by the storm.
